The NPC that gives you the sword is random. Now go back to La Theine Plateau and speak again to all the NPCs you spoke with earlier (including Galaihaurat) until one gives you a bronze sword. so your carving bolt heads that have a mixture of those properties. The root that you find when you kill the mob is parts of it which wasnt burned in its creation. Upon speaking to Ruillont, he will tell you to go find his weapon. The item is found on undead, as such the undead were more then likely created from the smoke of the root. In Ordelle’s Caves, follow the left wall until you find Ruillont at (G-3). La theine plateau series#
This is part of a series of quests needed to progress in the Abyssea storyline. Enter La Theine Plateau for a cutscene that finishes the quest. Continue down the canyon until you reach its lowest level, and speak to all the other NPCs you find. Examine the Cavernous Maw in La Theine Plateau at (E-4) while in possession of a Traverser stone. The area is also characterized by deep crevices that seem to tear apart the land torrential rainfall is also common. Once known for the flocks of wild chocobos that dotted the meadows, the plateau is now overrun with giant sheep. Make your way east to the canyon and speak to Equesobillot (F-6), and then Deaufrain further down. The grasslands that make up the La Theine Plateau are located high above the surrounding areas.
